Getting to Bundanoon

Bundanoon is located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, approximately 120 kilometres southwest of Sydney. It is almost halfway between Canberra and Sydney and approximately 15 kilometres off the Hume Highway.

By Car:
From Sydney Take the M5 motorway (Sydney to Canberra) past the turn-offs for Mittagong and Moss Vale. Look for the small sign on the left for Sutton Forest, immediately after the third and final ‘End of Freeway’ sign. Follow Golden Vale Road for 6km to the ‘T’ junction on the Illawarra Highway (48) at Sutton Forest. Turn right, and then turn left just 500 meters later at the Sutton Forest shops, following the signs to Bundanoon. Alternatively, take the Mittagong turnoff if you wish to drive through the towns of Mittagong, Bowral & Moss Vale, Sutton Forest & Exeter before arriving at Bundanoon. Bundanoon Motel is located on the edge of the village in Anzac Parade..

From Canberra Follow the Hume Highway (31) past Goulburn and Marulan. Approximately 2km past Marulan, take the Bundanoon turn-off, passing through the towns of Tallong, Wingello, and Penrose before arriving at Bundanoon. Please drive with caution as you will be travelling on country roads and wildlife can be
abundant, particularly in the early mornings and evenings.
